Digital Montage

Digital Montage combines my passion for photography and manipulating photos using various image-editing software.
When capturing the photograph I am largely driven by issues of composition; how the composition will emphasise certain aspects of my photograph, and how the positive and negative spaces give balance and harmony or react with each other.

When I begin editing my image, it becomes like a canvas upon which I collage other aspects of my photography. These collaged pieces become my paint; they become mark making possibilities adding layers of depth, meaning, and context to the overall work.​
